Urgent – Final Notification of D+ Network Closure December 2014

October, 2014

Dear Partner,
As a Partner using Inmarsat’s D+ service, you are aware that this service will close on December 31, 2014. This announcement made in 2011 can be found here: Inmarsat_D+_announcement.pdf

There are now only 75 days left until this service is no longer available and if you have not done so already, please take immediate action to manage the migration of your terminals on D+ across to Isat M2M. We are eager to help you minimize any disruption to your business and invite you to contact us at your earliest convenience to discuss how we can assist you in ensuring your continuous service.

For D+ customers in Latin America, please note that Inmarsat will keep the South Central Beam active for another two years. This means that D+ service will remain intact in the region circled in red below until December, 2016.

Honeywell Global Tracking and Inmarsat have a long term contractual M2M agreement in place, and together we will continue to offer IsatM2M services on the Inmarsat satellite constellation with Honeywell Global Tracking’s satellite tracked terminals.

In closing, I’d like to thank you for your continuing business with Honeywell Global Tracking and I look forward to working closely with you for many years.

Sincerely,
